I'm starting a business gift basket. How much should I charge people?
I am looking for gift baskets for infants and children ages up to 10 years of age. Some graduate towards children with special needs. Their willingness to be a couple of things for baby's needs, rental, children with special needs. Non-food items. I live in the U.S.. I will save a website for people out side of my area. I do not know how much to charge for these gifts.
The best way is to look at other online stores and see what prices they charge. That will give you an idea of what people will pay. You can sell a little cheaper or offer more for the same price. Later, when you start earning money you can adjust their prices. You have to find out what your cost of goods, and then you can go from there. Gift baskets have time to look pretty so that there is a large labor cost. Remember that companies are paying out there wages and materials costs and profit. Not only the price yourself too high.
